The CLEAR project
The Communication and Language Enhancement for Academics and Researchers (CLEAR) Project supports Monash University's recognition of the importance of transcultural competence and communicative clarity in an increasingly global and international higher education context.
The aims of CLEAR are to:
- assist staff to develop the awareness and skills to teach effectively in an intercultural learning and teaching environment;
- assist staff at all levels to develop effective spoken English delivery styles and presentation skills;
- survey current research and peer practice in relation to the spoken English and intercultural communication skills of academics in Higher Education
