I am the HR & Events Coordinator with the Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT). I coordinate all aspects of HR management for the unit and I also provide event management support for the yearly Learning and Teaching Showcase Series of events, which includes the Vice Chancellor’s Showcase of Teaching Excellence. I supervise a small team, made up of a Centre Administrator and a Programs and Awards Officer.
My career background includes recruitment, HR and marketing, with a distinct flavour of the education sector. My earlier career refined my marketing and events skills primarily within student markets, with Australia’s largest professional membership body, CPA Australia. Prior to arriving at Monash University, I held research and recruitment roles with Slade Group Recruitment with a focus on the education sector.
I am very interested in people development and needs analysis, mentoring, research and knowledge management, creative writing and marketing communications development.
