To whom does this policy apply?

The policy applies to academic staff appointed to a position at levels A to D which:

• is continuing,
• 0.5 and above,
• involves a three year probationary period, and
• requires the incumbent to perform significant teaching duties (i.e. teaching comprises 30% or more of the requisite engagement profile).
  • Staff appointed to academic positions at Lecturer levels A, B and C
  • Staff appointed to academic positions at Associate Professor level D
